Reports
Building a Report
- Click on Computer > Search Inventory > New
- Click the checkbox that says Save this Search and give it a title that describes what the report is for


- For Criteria, Click Choose next to what criteria you are searching for

- Add the AND/OR statement

Under the Display tab, add the following:
a. Computer
I. Computer Name
II. Last Check-In
III. Last Inventory Update
b. Hardware
I. Model
II. Model Identifier
III. Serial Number
c. Operating System
I. Operating System Version
d. User and Location
I. Department
II. Full Name
III. Username
e. Extension Attributes
I. Add what you are looking for (e.g. - Superman for example)

Click Save in the bottom right

Your report will show under the Advance Computer Search when you click Computer again

To launch the report, click the one you need to open and then go to the Report tab

Click Download Report and it will download an Excel file

Support Hub
- On a Mac device, click the Gig 'Em (Thumbs Up) button in the top right menu bar
- You will see a Support Hub Section open up

- Clicking the tab Computer Name will open the About page in System Preferences
- Clicking the MacOS version will open the Software Update Page
- Clicking on Health Check will initiate a check-in for the device
- Clicking Request Admin will give a person 15 minutes of admin, you can request again if admin is still needed
- To submit a ticket to report an issue to Help Desk Central, you can submit via the tab Contact IT Support
- To start a support chat with Help Desk Central, select Chat with HDC
- To trigger Superman to run, select Update Apps
Self-Service
- On a Mac device, click the Gig 'Em (Thumbs Up) button in the top right menu bar
- You will see a Support Hub section open up

- Select Self-Service and it will open a Window with software that can be installed onto the Mac without needing admin

- Clicking Browse will give a list of options including:
- All: includes every application, tool, or resource in the Self-Service Hub
- Help: is the collection of Knowledge Base articles
- Featured: highlights the most popular applications and tools on campus
- Applications: displays all applications that are available to download
- Security: includes the Health Check tool and access to the Privileges app
- Updates: highlights the tool to manually check for application or OS updates
- Printers: add printers onto your device
- For any of the software or printers you want to add to a device, click Install
Note: For printers, we only add network printers that are used by the ENTIRE college.
Create Ticket for JAMF Team
- Open TeamDynamix (https://service.tamu.edu/TDNext/Home/Desktop/Default.aspx) and make sure you are on our dashboard
- Click the button General IT Support Ticket

- Once you are on the ticket creation section, make sure to include your name as requestor, a title that sums up the issue, and a description of your issue or request.
- For the responsible group, select TS-EO-UEM - Apple Team (Group) source as Email
