Service/Server Information

PVFA has adopted the definition of “Significant IT Equipment” as defined in 29.01.03.M0.05 as what constitutes a server or service.

RACI

RACI Definitions

R = Responsible - the person who owns the project, task, or work. An example would be the executor of the task and not the project manager
A = Accountable - the person who will sign off on the work and judging its completion and how it meets quality standards. This could be the Project Sponsor or Project Manager whomever has final sign-off authority.
C = Consulted - the person who has the ability or knowledge needed to complete the work. These can be Stakeholders, Subject matter experts, or anyone else who can contribute consultatively to the task.
I = Informed - people who must be kept informed of the work but not necessarily consulted.

Management Groups

PVFA

This group is customer stakeholders within the College, comprised of PVFA Leadership, the Pipeline Group or Virtual Production Staff.

Technology Services PVFA (TSPVFA)

This group is the team that is housed in and supports PVFA but part of Technology Services (dotted line to PVFA)

Technology Services Server Administration Services (TSSAS)

This group is within Technology Services that the college partners with to operate services at scale.

Examples of these groups are the Server Administration group within Technology Services or the Academic Operations Linux team who we partner with to assist in managing servers or services.

3rd Party External Vendor (EXTVE)

This is the listing we use for External Vendors that we partner with to maintain some of our services.
